MDGs are goals agreed on governements to end poverty by 2015 "On 22nd December 1992, the UN General Assembly, through resolution 47/196, declared 17th October as the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. The 192 member states who make up the United Nations agreed on Eight Key Goals to eradicate poverty and set themselves a deadline of 2015 to reach these goals" Kenya is member state, The 8 MDGs are:
1. Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger
2. Achieve universal education
3. Promote gender equality & empower women
4. Reduce child mortality
5. Improve marternal health
6. Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other disease
7. Ensure environmental sustainability
8.Develop a global partnership for development.
